While the latest edition of Flea Market Style magazine has been out for a few weeks only, Ki and Celeste are already busy working on the Fall/Winter issue!

And they would love your help! For the next issue, they want to hear about your favorite vintage/antiques shops or malls, to feature them in their “Readers’ Favorites” article.

Here are the details!

TO ENTER:  1. In the comment section below, add YOUR FAVORITE locations and enter their store name with their city and state. Each shop/mall should be open year-round, 5 days a week, and sell predominately vintage product.
2. Nominate as many shops as you’d like, and please tell us WHY they are your favorite places to shop.
3. If we select your picks, by commenting you are allowing Flea Market Style to quote you in the magazine.
4. Please, NO SELF-PROMOTION. They will be removed.
Thank you from the team at Flea Market Style Magazine!
That’s it! Ki and Celeste can’t wait to read about your faves!

  1. Persimmon Lane (510 Sixth Street, Charleston, Illinois) is my favorite vintage store. Not only do the owners have a discerning eye when it comes to ferreting out the best vintage finds, but they also display delightful humor in the clever ways they display the treasures in their shop on Charleston’s downtown square. They also are adept at up-cycling the old (or pieces of the old) into new uses and/or stylish decor for home or office.

  2. Hello! My favorite vintage shop is Cool Junk in Granbury, TX. The ladies who own this shop have great eyes and find beautiful and unique items anyone would love to add to their collections. They are also experts at styling so every time you walk in the store you are instantly transported to whatever story they are telling that week. It’s beautiful!!

  3. It is my pleasure to recognize and recommend you make a special effort to visit my favorite vintage shop “COOL JUNK” located in Granbury, TX. The ladies who own this unique shop are truly talented in vintage treasures that you will love browsing through. Prices are wonderful!

  4. The Old Town Store in Historic Downtown Corydon Indiana is a MUST go to! They have all things you would picture an old general store having. From Reach In Coca Cola Coolers, Early Bicycles, Gas Pumps and even Old Porcelain Signs. They have been my little hidden honey hole for the last 5 years. They just extended a new area last year that includes all things girly! Their items are so adorable and include painted furniture, vintage linens, architectural salvage, vintage suitcases and even pyrex. This is my husband and I’s favorite spot because we each have our own area to explore. The owners Joe & Lindsey are always so welcoming and treat you like family every time we walk through the door. If that isn’t enough to get you excited, this same couple started the Corydon Extravaganza which is a market for the areas best Vintage, Antiques & Arts. In their short 4.5 years they have grown the Corydon Extravaganza to include over 150 vendors, food trucks, live music and wineries. My husband and I literally plan our vacation around their biannual event which typically happens on the fourth full weekend of April and October every year! This would be great exposure for such a wonderful shop, market and humble keepers.
    Sincerely, Myra

  5. Ava Belles 108 s Madison aurora mo 65605 is a great place for one of a kind unique antique, primitive and vintage….Everything from cow skulls to cast iron bath tubs!

  6. I love Red Plantation in Poulsbo, Washington. They always have a great collection of vintage, rusty treasures and eclectic items. There’s always new stuff to look at, plus there’s a great donut shop a few stores down, and who doesn’t like a good excuse to buy donuts!

  7. If you want vintage, eclectic and antiques, make sure you visit Poulsbo Mercantile on Viking Avenue in Poulsbo Washington. They also have a collection of decorative pieces, art and metal work showcased by small business owners and the customer service is second to none!

  8. FOUND, Is one of the best vintage store I’ve shopped lately. It is located in downtown Poulsbo, WA. 98370
The owner has a keen eye for unusual vintage and collectible items. The store always has new and interesting items to browse, its a pleasure to go there the clerks are all so pleasant and they are full of knowledge and willing to share.

  9. Come to Texas. CityView Antique Mall in Dallas, Texas 75231 has the best vintage and authentic market in the state. Twice a year they have an outdoor flea market (April and September) that is almost a mini Round Top (or Brimfield for those of you on the east coast). These dealers pay attention to re-doing their spaces on an almost daily basis which makes the customer want to go there every day to see what is new. The owners make sure the spaces are filled with authentic merchandise. No Beenie Babies in this establishment.
